Somarco acts as shipowner, having been awarded contracts for maritime and lake transportation services with the Chilean Ministries of Public Works and Transportation in the south of the country.

These vessels comply with fixed itineraries as part of the Austral Connectivity Plan and may make special trips outside the itinerary as required by the market.
